Congenital Deformity Rehabilitation

The Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Program provides evaluation and treatment for persons who have functional limitations resulting from illness or injury which prevent them from achieving maximum independence and community reintegration. The services provided in the program are coordinated and integrated to effectively and efficiently maximize the level of functional independence and successful community reintegration of each patient.

A multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team develops and implements an individualized treatment program for each patient with a goal of maximizing his or her independence. This team approach to rehabilitation includes the patient and the patient's families as core members of the team.

We rehabilitate patients with congenital deformities including, but not limited to:

Spina bifida

Arthrogryposis

Musculoskeletal anomalies
